KRISTEN + JEREMY // AN ORLANDO ENGAGEMENT

It’s not often I’m able to shoot an engagement session for a couple whose love I witnessed from the very beginning. If you’ve been following me long enough, you know I lived in Florida for a period of time 4 years ago. While I was transitioning my business from Michigan to Florida, I worked at a brand new restaurant opening in my town. Kristen + Jeremy were also a part of that opening team – I was a server, Kristen a food runner, + Jeremy a chef. Our boss would often throw me in the kitchen with Kristen so she could teach me a thing or two because I didn’t know my sh*t (lol to be fair, fine dining really isn’t my thing) And our friendship quickly grew from there. At the time, Kristen was going to nursing school + she would leave class early to be at work – come in tired as hell, but consistently never complained and always worked her ass off. I admired her so much back then and admire her even more now (she’s now a badass night ICU nurse that saves lives on the daily!) When I moved back to Michigan, we took turns visiting each other + on her first visit to me, she told me about her huge crush on Jeremy. Shortly after, they started dating + I have now visited them more times than I can remember in the last 4 years. Each time I’ve been able to witness their love grow + blossom.. and now, I will be in their wedding later this year.

Life is full of so many wonderful surprises + meeting these two has been one of the best ones yet.
